The Slate. is built by artists – actors, writers, and directors – who understand the importance of seeking consent whenever using the image of an artist. As a result, The Slate. pledges not to distribute an actor’s audition videos or usernames and passwords associated with a member’s personal account.

Audition videos posted online will only be made accessible to The Slate. staff, as well as the cast/crew associated with each project. The Slate. pledges to keep our members billing information private, and will, under no circumstances, sell our members email addresses to third-parties or marketing companies.

As for how we record and archive remote audition videos, The Slate uses YouTube/Vimeo APIs to upload the Audition Videos and we follow both YouTube Privacy Policies and Google Privacy Policies as well. Users can revoke the access to their data from The Slate. whenever they want via the Google Security Settings page.
